Any, even the simplest, problem can be solved in several ways, sometimes without suspecting the options, and sometimes facing a harsh choice. For example, the rather calm city of Megatonna, which stands out among others by the presence in the very center of a "pissed off" (well, like a New Year's firecracker - not working) atomic warhead and a kind of religion directly associated with this charge is one of the most important places in the world of Fallout 3... There are enough key characters, merchants, friends and enemies, but nothing prevents the player from kindly repairing the warhead and sending all the Megatonians into the deep hell and further up to the skies. The storyline is so multivariate that it allows, according to the developers, more than two hundred (!) Different endings, and making further passage impossible, erasing one of the key cities from the scarred face of the earth, simply will not work. It won't work at all. And it is not necessary, by the way. In any case, there remains the silent, dusty Washington and - attention - the subway there. An alternative to vehicles that don't seem to be in the game. Here are just the alternative, this rather harsh and extremely dangerous, because in the shadows of the branchy tunnels live not only scorpions of different colors and the Claws of Death, but also extremely dangerous mutants, steadily flying raids with ticket checks. In general, you won't be bored for sure.
Not the least role will be played by the notorious Radiant AI, which never managed to shine in Oblivion. Now the developers assure that everything has been brought to mind. "Dummies" in Fallout 3, they say, refer to each other by name, discuss topical rather than abstract issues and interact in every possible way with the world around them, react to events, not only in a duel, but also in peacetime. Plus, each character will be like a "gopher" - that is, a Personality. An incredible number of various dialogues and topics for conversations, an individual attitude towards the player for each NPC, association and group, openly or purely ideologically warring with each other - a complete set, in other words. And even though this is really not the same Fallout, but for that, ten years have passed since the release of the second part. The world is changing, progress is not standing still, and games are developing and changing a lot. Whether they get worse or better is another matter altogether. It is only important to understand that Fallout 3 will be the spiritual successor of the cult RPGs of the late 90s, and, most likely, very, very good.
