The history of the appearance of the breed
There is a beautiful legend in America about how this pixie bob appeared. This is a love story of a domestic cat, whose name was Pixie, and a forest wild cat (sometimes called a red lynx in the north of America). His name was Bobcat. One day while walking in the woods, Pixie met Bobcat and they fell in love. Love was so passionate that wonderful funny kittens appeared as a result of it. They inherited the color and short lynx tails from the Bobcat dad, and the small size and abnormal paws with a lot of fingers from the Pixie mom. This is how a new species of forest inhabitants began to exist in the forests of North America.
In fact, a little over 30 years ago, American felinologists wanted to create cats that looked like a beautiful lynx. To do this, they caught wild seals and kitties and carried out a colossal selection work. The breed was given a name, as in the legend - pixie-bob. These animals are considered a national treasure in the United States, so their export from the country is prohibited. Yes, and long journeys for these cats are undesirable because of their difficult portability.

Character and content of the pixie-bob
